Time and Location
WHEN: every Saturday evening, with worship at 6:00 p.m. and periodic education opportunities at 4:45 p.m.
WHERE: Friends Meeting House, 110 Tulane Terrace, Lancaster, PA
(Tulane Terrace runs through Wheatland Plaza across from Tobias S. Frogg restaurant and Papa John’s Pizza on Columbia Avenue.)
The Friends Meeting House is wheelchair accessible.
Worship Style
Our worship services are decidedly Christian in content but inclusive in language, honest dialogue, and sharing. Highly informal, worship is structured but open to spontaneous input. DUCC’s pastors welcome questions when they are speaking.
Children are encouraged to stay for the service and are free to move around and ask questions. Worship includes special moments for children each week. Child care can be provided for pre-K and younger children as needed.
Since our worship is centered around the principle of the Open Table, we invite all persons who seek to follow the way of Jesus to share in our weekly communion bread and cup celebration. This means that our weekly communion is open to everyone attending. We believe that the communion table belongs to Christ and therefore cannot be closed by humans.
Healing Services
DUCC offers healing services as part of worship on the first Saturday of each month. A laying-on-of-hands is available to all who wish to participate.
